Join us for an in-store exhibition featuring work through lenses of three talented Vancouver based photographers. All photos will be for sale as the listed price and can be taken home at the end of the event (9pm).
Non-alcoholic and alcoholic refreshments will be by donation from Tality Kombucha, Nonny Beer, and Persephone Brewing Company. Product giveaways & door prizes will take place throughout the event and winners will be announced towards the end of the evening. Raven Trust Foundation will be the highlighted organization receiving all donations during the event.Â
Dedicated highliner/slackliner Gerald Situ is passionate about capturing his world through photography and filmmaking. Chasing dreams and seeing the visions come alive through the power of community gives him immense joy and freedom. He is inspired by the athletes and the hardships and intimate moments that happen on every journey to find the perfect line. Having documented some of the best slackline athletes around the world, his favourite place to explore is still right in Canada.Â
Alec Suriyuth is a competitive biker and photographer with a degree in Sustainable Engineering from Carleton University. Alec has a passion for shooting serene landscapes or juxtaposing shots of athletic action. Alec uses photography primarily as a self-growth focused project to expand technical and storytelling abilities with the goal to create though-provoking/impactful photographs.Â
Jag combines simple yet vivid scenes of landscape photography shooting a wide variety of locations from alpine cliffs to coastal rainforest. Recently Jag has been shooting wildlife and exploring the many personalities that can come with photographing megafauna. As a biology graduate and a ecological restoration student, Jag explores his love for nature through many facets.Â
